for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years
Shaw Avenue Children's Center provides non-profit, high quality child care for a diverse group of children ages 6 weeks through 5 years and their families. Our program is based on, and promotes, understanding of child development; commitment to family support; inclusion of persons with special needs; and the practice of conflict resolution learning.
Our urban location, convenient to major hospitals and universities, allows frequent exploration of numerous family attractions. The indoor facility consists of safe, modern and spacious construction with plenty of space for activities beyond the well equipped classrooms. Classes are divided into four age groupings for infants, toddlers, younger preschoolers and older preschoolers. Outdoor space includes play structures, sand play space, a children's gardening area, and a separate hard surface area for wheeled riding toys.
